The Bodies Balancing Act -Preventing Acidity From Destroying Your Health

The human body runs a delicate balance of trying to maintain the proper body PH in each of its different systems. The problem most Americans run into is that the environment and the majority of foods taken in weigh heavily acidic on the PH scale. Foods such as meat, simple carbohydrates, cereals, sugars, soda; the list is endless, cause the body PH to quickly slide down the slippery slope of acidity. The more acidic a person is the more health problems result and the average American spends the majority of their life in acidosis.

Acidosis is merely an imbalance in the PH scale. The goal is to keep the body PH at neutral, which is anywhere from 6.8-7.2 on the PH scale. There are varying degrees of acidosis, with mild acidosis causing common symptoms such as: acne, decreased sex drive, food allergies, bloating, and a difficulty waking in the morning. If you find you are experiencing any of these symptoms, this should be your wake-up call. As acidosis progresses the health symptoms become more and more life changing. Moderate acidosis is characterized by complication such as: asthma, urinary tract infections, excessive hair loss, depression and migraines. Have you considered the vast percentages of Americans currently using anti-depressants? The statistics are staggering. In the last decade the percentage of Americans taking antidepressants has doubled, and now 1 in 10 Americans are popping “happy” pills to improve their outlook on life. What if depression issues are merely symptomatic of something greater, and could be improved by finding a way to balance the bodies PH? The final stages of acidosis are often life shortening. Cancer, lupus, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Tuberculosis all have one common link, a highly acidic body PH.

Eating foods that are very alkaline can help improve your body’s PH. The old motto “You are what you eat” holds some merit. Green leafy vegetables, bell peppers, papaya, and other fruits and vegetables are all bursting with nutrition and are decidedly more alkaline. A healthy diet can definitely improve your outcomes on the PH spectrum. However, many Americans are finding that as the world becomes more toxic it is increasingly difficult to balance PH with diet alone. Nutrition is not always absorbable at the cellular level and it would take an exorbitant amount of the “right” foods to neutralize an individual’s body PH. Healthy diet, combined with a mineral neutralizer that is high in essential minerals such as Potassium, Calcium and Magnesium, which are highly alkaline, and a vitamin supplement containing essential nutrients that are absorbable at the cellular level are necessary if you hope to obtain optimal health.

Don’t take a risk on your health. With a 50% chance of getting cancer during your lifetime, finding a way to manage your body’s PH and obtain a proper balance is essential to actualize longevity and good quality of life.
